Job summary

Mid-Pacific is seeking a dynamic, student-centered High School Science Teacher to join our Science Department. This role includes teaching Human Anatomy, multiple levels of Biology, and elective science courses, with potential IB Biology and IB Environmental Systems and Societies.

The educator should inspire curiosity, build meaningful student relationships, and use inquiry-driven approaches aligned with deeper learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science from an accredited university or college.
• At least two years teaching experience in high school science preferred.
• Project-based instruction and/or IB experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach Human Anatomy, Biology, and elective science courses.
• Collaborate with the Science Department to develop and update curriculum.
• Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
• Record student grades and communicate with families as needed.
• Maintain safe and engaging classroom environments.
