Huntington Learning Center in Chester County, SC is seeking an experienced English Instructor to provide small-group instruction at a local high school, focusing on reading, writing, and language skills aligned with the curriculum.

The instructor will work with small groups in a 4:1 or 5:1 setting, delivering instruction aligned with the school's curriculum and syllabus. A Bachelor’s degree is required and prior English teaching experience is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree as required.
• Prior experience teaching English preferred.
• Strong knowledge of high school English curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage high school students.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable and able to work 8am-3:30pm, 5 days a week, 4-6 hours per day (follows Chester County School calendar).

Responsabilidades

• Help students develop critical thinking, written communication, and analytical skills.
• Follow the school's curriculum, syllabus, instructional objectives, and school calendar.
• Explain concepts clearly and provide guided practice to reinforce student understanding.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to address learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
• Collaborate professionally with school staff to support student achievement.
