Job summary

Siskin Hospital is seeking a full-time Unit Representative to support the inpatient unit. Under the charge nurse, you will perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining patient charts, and coordinating care and scheduling wherever needed.

This role requires strong clerical skills, computer literacy with Paragon and Microsoft, excellent communication, and the ability to stay organized in a busy hospital setting. Prior Unit Representative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Prior Unit Representative experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and maintain patient paper charts.
• Coordinate patient care and schedule appointments and tests.
• Greet visitors and direct them to patient rooms per visitation policies.
• Transcribe orders and maintain patient records accurately.
• Notify nurses of cancellations or timetable changes and maintain organization of the unit.
