Job summary

Columbus Springs Dublin, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Inpatient Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team in Dublin, OH. You will provide individual and group therapy, contribute to treatment planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Requirements include a Master’s in social work or counseling with an OH license, plus CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire, and prior experience with psychiatric or chemical dependency

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent.
• Current clinical or social work license in OH.
• Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
• Displays active involvement in treatment planning process.
• Provides family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
• Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Demonstrates proactive communication with those involved with the patient's treatment.
• Works well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members.

Education

Master's degree in social work or counseling

OH license (clinical or social work)
