Job summary

Columbus Springs East is hiring an Inpatient Therapist (PRN) to join our behavioral health team. You will provide individual and group therapy, participate in treatment planning, and support discharge and after-care planning for psychiatric and substance use patients.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in social work or counseling and current OH licensure, with experience in psychiatric care and chemical dependency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling required.
• Current clinical or social work license in OH required.
• Prior psychiatric and chemical dependency patient experience preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions for psychological, emotional, or substance use issues.
• Participates actively in treatment planning and discharge/after-care planning.
• Provides family sessions to support communication and involvement of relatives.
• Communicates with clients, families, and referrals, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Document all patient interactions and communications with stakeholders.
