West Oaks Hospital seeks a dedicated Inpatient Therapist to deliver direct psychiatric and substance abuse care in an acute setting for adults, adolescents, and geriatrics. You will work with patients, families, and the care team to coordinate treatment and discharge planning.

You will lead psychosocial assessments, plan reviews, and individual, group, and family therapies, while collaborating with physicians and care managers to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing recovery support.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s in Human Services related field required.
• Preferred: Master’s in Social Work.
• Licensure: LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, or LMSW; CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
• Experience: 1–3 years of clinical inpatient psychiatric experience; chemical dependency experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform psychosocial assessments, treatment plan reviews, and individual/group/family therapy within established timeframes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, RNs, care managers, and others to support crisis intervention and discharge planning.
• Conduct therapeutic groups and provide education and advocacy to help patients access follow-up care.
