Utilizing proven, innovative, and progressive therapies, our qualified professionals promote long-term wellness through inpatient and outpatient psychiatric counseling and treatment options.
The Therapist provides direct clinical services, including assessment, interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning. They also provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to support patient, family, and group progress in treatment, adhering to standards set by the Joint Commission, Federal and State Regulations, Oceans' Mission, policies, procedures, and PI standards.
Educational / Experience Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include a Clinical Social Worker (CSW), LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist certification, with 0-1 year of post-graduate clinical experience. Completion of at least two internship semesters, including one with a specific mentally ill population (adolescents, adults, geriatrics), or chemical dependency experience. Training in mentorship will be provided if no prior experience with the assigned population.
Qualifications / Skills:
Subject to interruptions, high-paced and stressful situations, with exposure to odors, sights, and unpredictable patient behavior. Approximately 85% or more of the work is indoors, providing protection.
