Job summary

Northpoint Recovery in Loveland, CO seeks an Inpatient Therapist/Counselor to provide individual, group and family therapy and to coordinate treatment plans. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to licensure and documentation standards.

The position centers on admission-to-discharge care, patient education, and ongoing treatment assessment, with emphasis on confidentiality and ethical practice within a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences or commensurate experience.
• Active substance abuse or mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered.
• Maintain applicable state licensure requirements for hire and throughout employment.
• 1+ year of experience in relevant field.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families.
• Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge.
• Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality patient care.
• Provide orientation and education to patients, families and others to aid in the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with patients in the development of written treatment plans with family involvement.
• Monitor patients to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions.
• Document assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans and progress timely.
• Actively participate on the multidisciplinary team and maintain professional relationships.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with policy and standards of care.
