Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Licensed Counselor to join our Georgia behavioral health team in a part-time role. The schedule includes weekends and 8:00a-4:30p with a minimum of 16 hours per week, focusing on individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and collaborative care.

Masters in counseling or related field with Georgia licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) and at least five years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field and Georgia licensure.
• Five years of related work experience in behavioral health.
• Experience with group therapies and documentation in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and facilitate group therapy and programming.
• Document group notes, plans of care, and progress in EMR within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and social services on treatment plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and referrals as needed.
