Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking an Inpatient Therapist for Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy in an inpatient setting, support crisis stabilization, and help develop patient discharge plans.

Requires a Master’s degree in a therapeutic field and state licensure readiness, with several years of experience in the target population. Training on CPR/restraint is provided by the facility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
• Four or more years’ experience as a therapist with two or more years’ experience with the specific population of the facility is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques to treat emotional and mental disorders.
• Conduct individual, group or family therapy as appropriate.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and discharge planning.
• Coordinate treatment plans and services as needed and revise accordingly.
• Maintain therapy documentation according to standards.
• Manage an assigned caseload and participate in treatment team meetings.
• Deliver services in inpatient or outpatient settings as needed.
• Provide case management and post-discharge planning.
