Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of Clinical Director.
• Counsel individuals, groups, and families; perform addiction assessments.
• Provide case management and coordinate discharge planning.
• Maintain documentation in patient records.
• Conduct searches of patients' belongings and rooms as needed.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and interpret results.
• Assist staff with milieu management.
• Adhere to ethical standards and ongoing professional development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or mental health field

Masters degree in counseling, social work, behavioral medicine preferred

Strong organizational skills

Excellent verbal/written and interpersonal communication

Familiar with federal and state regulations (JCAHO)
