Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is looking for an Inpatient Therapist in Columbus, Ohio, to conduct therapy sessions and support patients facing psychological challenges. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions.

• Works with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and nursing staff.

How you'll contribute

An Inpatient Therapist who excels in this role:

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems
• Displays active involvement in treatment planning process
• Provides family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups
• Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources
• Demonstrates proactive communication with those involved with the patient's treatment
• Works well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent and a current clinical or social work license in the state of OH. Additional requirements include:

Hourly Range

$33.22 - $44.84
