Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D, a 35-bed unit caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This role involves care on a high-acuity unit with a rigorous weekend rotation.

BSN or progress toward the degree is required, with 1 year minimum nursing experience; ACLS/BLS certifications are required within 1 year. The hospital offers Magnet status recognition and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required. Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware. BLS Certification required. ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
