Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff with daily coordination of patient care and patient access.
• Coordinate patient flow; schedule appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
• May serve as preceptor for clinical staff and lead within the scope of practice.
• All patient care activities are accurately documented per documentation standards; support team with documentation.
• Actively participates on unit teams, work groups and committees as requested.
