Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide evaluation, planning, and administration of personalized speech-language therapy for patients in a leading national rehabilitation company. Applicants must hold state licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree acceptable with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
