HonorHealth is seeking a Speech Pathologist in the Network Operations Center in Mesa, Arizona. The role involves the identification, evaluation, and treatment of various communication disorders using evidence-based techniques. Candidates must hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, be ASHA certified, and possess a valid Arizona license. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining thorough documentation. This position requires availability for PRN shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Must be ASHA Certified.
Current AZ License to Practice Speech Language Pathology.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Experience in a Network float position preferred.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and update plans of care in collaboration with patients and families.
Maintain accurate documentation in patient's medical record.
Consult with interdisciplinary teams regarding patient status and discharge plans.
Assist in identifying department needs and process improvements.
