Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Speech Pathologist in the Network Operations Center in Mesa, Arizona. The role involves the identification, evaluation, and treatment of various communication disorders using evidence-based techniques. Candidates must hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, be ASHA certified, and possess a valid Arizona license. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining thorough documentation. This position requires availability for PRN shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be ASHA Certified.
• Current AZ License to Practice Speech Language Pathology.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Experience in a Network float position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and update plans of care in collaboration with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient's medical record.
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams regarding patient status and discharge plans.
• Assist in identifying department needs and process improvements.
