The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech Pathology, CCC-SLP status or progress, IL licensure, CPR, and supervised hospital experience. Strong communication, time management, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification or in progress.
• State licensure in Illinois for SLP and CPR certification.
• Supervised clinical experience in hospital or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and provide speech therapy services including evaluation, treatment, education, referrals, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and compliant documentation for Medicare and other payers.
• Disseminate evaluation and treatment procedures to staff and students; report patient progress at conferences.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families; contribute to care plans and quality care.
