Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking an experienced RN for the Specialty Resource Unit (SRU) on Burnet Campus. This full-time role (32 hours weekly) supports patient care across inpatients, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements include an Associate/Diploma RN, 2+ years of experience, active Ohio RN license; BSN/MSN preferred. If without BSN/MSN, enrollment within 1 year and completion within 5 years.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience.
• BSN/MSN preferred; if hired without BSN/MSN, enroll within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Active Ohio RN License required.
• Foreign graduates: license validation via TruMerit per Ohio rules.

Responsibilities

• Sustain regulatory compliance with standards and accreditation.
• Ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled timely.
• Collaborate with managers, nurse council and magnet reps on safety.
• Provide clinical care with age-appropriate, culturally inclusive practices.
• Engage in ongoing education and performance review to improve practice.
