Qualifications

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required, internship acceptable.
• Education includes High School diploma or Associate's degree; or 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacist by accurately preparing, compounding, and distributing specialty medications to ensure continuity of patient care and safety.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, automated dispensing systems, and supply logistics to maintain medication availability and prevent potential drug shortages.
• Serve as a patient advocate and liaison, coordinating benefit investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance for prompt medication access.
• Collaborate with the care team to prepare patient education materials and monitor regulatory compliance.
