• Directs and reviews the work of Alameda Health System medical social workers and sets work standards.
• Interprets work standards and guides staff in difficult case decisions and treatment plans.
• Directs staff to provide intensive case service and develops treatment plans with psychiatric consultation as needed.
• Recruits, trains and coaches frontline social work staff, ensuring optimal performance.
