Geisinger is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse with a compelling hiring incentive of up to $26,000. The role offers a minimum hiring rate of $41.41 per hour with increases for experienced nurses and up to $7 per hour shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Typical duties include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, direct patient care, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license in Pennsylvania (or eligible)
• ACLS certification required on this unit
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Coordinate and implement care plan with interprofessional team.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Evaluate nursing interventions and revise care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to address patient needs.
