Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking registered nurses for 7:00pm–7:30am shifts with holiday and weekend rotation. Competitive benefits include PTO, medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement plans, disability and parental leave.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care during the 7:00pm–7:30am shift with rotation.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.

Job description

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, 7:00pm-7:30am with holiday and weekend rotation. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials

$4/ hr evening, $5 hr night, and $4.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Additional components of compensation may include overtime and on-call pay

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
Work Experience
  • No minimum experience required.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
  • Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
  • UW Health Chemotherapy course completion within six months of hire. Required
