Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for an inpatient role in a 24/7/365 Post Surgical Orthopedic Unit. The RN will promote the mission and values, assess patients, monitor vital systems, and develop individualized plans of care.

The position requires acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience, current RN licensure, and BLS/BCLS; ACLS and PALS are required within specified timelines depending on pediatric scope. This is a full-time inpatient opportunity at SCA Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of acute care and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice with good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification within 90 days if pediatric care is included in the facility scope.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s status per policies and procedures across body systems.
• Interpret information from noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Develop an individualized plan of care and implement it.
• Provide education to patient and family and maintain safety and privacy.
