SCA Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Post Surgical Orthopedic Unit. This role supports patient care across the perioperative continuum in a high-volume hospital setting.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care and advocate for patients. Join a team dedicated to quality, teamwork and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of acute care and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standing.
• BLS/BCLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• PALS required if pediatric care is part of scope within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status according to facility policies and procedures.
• Interpret information from monitors and describe underlying pathophysiology.
• Develop an individualized plan of care and implement the plan.
• Protect patient from injury and operate equipment safely.
• Communicate patient status throughout the continuum of care.
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally competent, ethical care.
• Maintain patient rights, dignity and privacy.
