Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform professional nursing care, assessment, planning, and evaluation for patients in telemetry/ICU units. The role requires maintaining patient privacy, following physician orders, and adhering to infection control standards.

Qualified candidates will have an ADN/ASN or Nursing Diploma, current PA RN licensure, and 2+ years of ICU/telemetry experience, with BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years related healthcare positions, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific, proficient nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per COLA/CLIA policies.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures; assist others.
• Follow state Board of Nursing standards and facility policies.
