UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for a per diem, varied schedule. You will work on a unit according to guidelines, with the option of evening, night, weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities.

A strong benefits package accompanies the role, including PTO, health/dental/vision, and retirement plans. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Illinois RN license with BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• No minimum experience required.
• 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. Required
• 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence. Upon Hire Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
• 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire. Preferred
