Job summary
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Staff Nurse Inpatient to deliver high-quality patient care across our inpatient units. The role requires a BSN or an ADN with a plan to obtain a BSN, plus an active Illinois RN license and BLS; you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for acutely ill patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications
- BSN required for the role.
- Current State of Illinois RN license.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and patients.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes data, develops and evaluates an individualized nursing plan.
- Directs care and utilizes staff appropriately for patient care.
- Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff to coordinate services.
- Participates in shared governance, committees, and unit projects.
- Documents patient responses and personalizes the care plan based on evaluations.
- Uses evidence to guide nursing practice.
