Job summary

UW Health in Rockford, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for 90% full-time evening/night shifts at SwedishAmerican Hospital. The role includes a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and rotating weekends/holidays.

You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced hospital setting. Required are an accredited nursing program graduate, an Associate's degree in nursing, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible in Illinois.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during evening/night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am).
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Adhere to unit policies, patient safety protocols and care plans.

Work Schedule

90% FTE, full-time. Evening/Night shift, 3-12 hours, 7p-7:30 am, with rotating weekends and holidays. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Associate's degree in nursing. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• ACLS and PALS by the end of orientation. Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
