Geisinger is seeking a part-time Inpatient Registered Nurse for the GP2 unit. This role assesses, plans, performs and evaluates nursing care to meet patient needs in a 24-bed acute care setting with telemetry.

You will collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to promote safety and patient satisfaction and to support discharge planning throughout hospitalization. We value Magnet-recognized care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifikationen

• RN license required.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Experience in inpatient or critical care settings preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assess plans, organize and perform nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications and diagnostics.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, ancillary staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families, discharge planning and follow-up within unit standards.
• Participate in unit-based decision making and evidence-based practice.
