Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience - One year as a registered nurse.
• In lieu of one year RN experience: Prisma Health Nurse Residency or comparable residency.
• In lieu of Associate degree: nursing diploma with RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Demonstrates nursing process competency with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ensures compliance with licensure, training, health screenings and policies.
• Maintains safety, quality improvement and patient confidentiality in daily practice.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and supports discharge planning.
