Job summary

Prisma Health in Marshall Pickens Hospital seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting across the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while aligning with safety, infection control and quality guidelines.

The role requires RN licensure and at least 1 year of nursing experience; nurses may support weekend/holiday/on-call schedules as needed within the unit.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year RN experience.
• In lieu of one year RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency or equivalent program accepted.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment using age-specific standards and tools.
• Develops an individual plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Updates the plan based on changes in patient condition and communicates changes to the team.
• Delivers direct patient care per the established nursing plan and delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Monitors quality of care and participates in performance improvement activities.
• Ensures documentation supports patient needs and safety.
