Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Virtual Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, 12-hour day shifts. This role is on-site with no remote work and involves mentoring peers and guiding clinical care across the patient care continuum.

The VRN will handle assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care from admission to discharge, coordinate care, monitor quality metrics, and document accurately in the patient record.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of bedside RN experience in an inpatient setting.
• RN Indiana License and CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Coordinate care using clinical knowledge and case management principles.
• Support the transition of care across the continuum and ensure accurate documentation.
• Mentor, educate and collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.
