Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Virtual Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 12-hour day shift in Mishawaka, IN. This on-site role participates in a 5-week weekend rotation, mentoring peers and guiding patient care such as line removals and Foley care.

Requires 2+ years of inpatient bedside RN experience and Indiana RN license with CPR up to date. The RN collaborates across admission to discharge, applies case-management concepts, and ensures complete documentation in the patient record

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana license; CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• 2+ years of bedside RN experience in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate patient care from admission to discharge.
• Coordinate and support the plan of care using clinical knowledge and case management principles.
• Ensure seamless transition of care across the continuum and accurate documentation in the patient record.
• Mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator roles in daily practice.
