Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient RN to provide direct patient care on the overnight shift (7pm – 7:30am) with every other weekend and holiday work. Eligible candidates may receive a $23,500 hiring incentive and experience increased pay with up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient teaching and guidance of ancillary staff.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Complete assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Address patient, family needs across the continuum of care.
• Coordinate and plan care with interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluate nursing interventions and revise plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to resolve patient needs.
• Delegate and manage assignments to team members.
