Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Pennsylvania is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for our diverse inpatient population. The ideal candidate will have inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for hospitalized patients.
• Maintain all respiratory equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

Certification or licensure in Respiratory Care (state where hospital resides)

BLS and ACLS certification

Blood gas licensure (Nevada) if employed in the state

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
