Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Venice is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to support a diverse patient population in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate has inpatient hospital experience or a strong motivation to learn and grow within PAM Health.

The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and assist with phlebotomy and basic lab testing. Must hold state licensure and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all respiratory equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
