Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The role involves routine therapy, diagnostics, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures in a hospital setting.

Candidates must be licensed in the state, current BLS and ACLS, and have at least one year of clinical experience; additional education and phlebotomy duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for hospital patients.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
