Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Heritage Valley is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our inpatient team. The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostics, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures while maintaining all equipment and supporting phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.

Candidates must be licensed in the practicing state, hold current BLS and ACLS, and have at least a high school diploma with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintain all respiratory equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
