Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Sarasota is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learning.

The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintains equipment. Phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.
