Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to support diverse inpatient populations. The role involves routine cardiopulmonary therapies, diagnostics and emergency procedures, with emphasis on patient care and equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate is licensed in the state, holds current BLS and ACLS, and has at least one year of clinical respiratory care experience; Nevada blood gas licensure is noted if applicable. An associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
