Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sussex in Milford, Delaware is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The successful candidate will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and help maintain all respiratory equipment.

Candidates must be licensed or certified to practice respiratory care in the state, hold BLS and ACLS, and have at least a high school diploma (associate degree preferred).

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintains all respiratory equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
