Job summary

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II for a part-time position requiring 32 hours per week, Sundays–Wednesdays and/or Mondays–Thursdays, with some Saturdays. The scheduled hours are 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. The role provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, and communication disorders, with development of individualized treatment plans, progress monitoring, patient and family education, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed or temporarily licensed Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and coping techniques.
• Complete discharge planning and documentation according to procedures.
