Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehab Unit to deliver patient-centered care for adults 18+. You’ll monitor complex needs, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safe discharge.

The role requires current Iowa RN licensure, BLS certification, and completion of adult abuse reporting training. Sign-on bonus available and rotating shifts with ~36 hours per week.

Formación

• Current Iowa RN license or compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and support patients with complex medical needs.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team at hand-offs.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe discharge.
• Document care accurately in real time.
• Lead and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and support staff.
• Create a respectful, compassionate environment for patients and team members.
• Respond to emergencies and changing conditions.
