Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse for Inpatient Rehab. You will collaborate with physicians to plan care and provide bedside nursing, following medical orders and guiding patient progress.

The role requires Michigan nursing license and CPR certification; six months acute care experience preferred and Rehab RN certification encouraged. This casual (per-diem) position supports day shifts and leadership in a rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a current license to practice in the state of Michigan.
• CPR issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross Certification.
• Six (6) months experience in an acute care setting or equivalent
• Certified Rehab Registered Nurse preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physician to provide a plan of care that will return the patient to optimal health.
• Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders.
• Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate, OB Care Associate, Surgical Service Assistant, Nursing Clerk and Psychiatric Tech functions.
• Responsible for evaluating effectiveness of care plan.
• Functions as a team leader to ensure proper patient placement and delegation of assignments.
