Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 9A Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. This full-time day shift offers a sign-on bonus of $7,500 for new grads or $15,000 for experienced nurses.

The RN will perform comprehensive nursing care, coordinate with therapists and the care team, and support patient goals, discharge planning and family education. ADN required; BSN preferred; VA license required.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
• New grads welcome; inpatient rehab experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support rehabilitation goals and educate patients and families for home transition.
