Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in South Carolina is seeking a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse for PRN opportunities. You will collaborate with the patient, family, and health-care team to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate treatment plans to achieve positive outcomes.

The role emphasizes accountability for patient care, coordination with rehab therapy, medication administration, and patient-family education. A nursing license and BLS are required; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license in state of practice and/or compact license.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for assigned patients.
• Assist patient exercises and skin care to prevent breakdown.
• Coordinate with rehab therapy to improve mobility, cognition, ADLs, and communication.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
