Zusammenfassung

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in South Carolina is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse to collaborate with patients, families and the care team to assess, plan, implement and coordinate rehabilitation goals. You will provide patient care, educate families on treatment plans, administer medications per physician orders, and support mobility, cognition and activities of daily living.

A nursing license and BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred.
• < 1 year applicable experience.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Aufgaben

• Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients.
• Assist a patient exercise, provide proper skin care to prevent skin breakdown and ensure patients are properly positioned to prevent further immobility.
• Coordinate with the rehab therapy team to provide acute medical management to improve functional skills (mobility, cognition, activities of daily living, communication).
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
