Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team and medical providers.

The RN will advocate for patients and families, apply established nursing models, and support the organization’s mission and values to achieve excellent clinical outcomes across the unit.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Diploma
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team.
• Advocates for patients/families/caregivers and models the organization’s vision/values to support an exceptional patient experience.
• Works within established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The Inpatient Rehab RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Registered Nurse Diploma
