Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking a dynamic Rehab RN to join our inpatient rehab team on a PRN basis. You will assess patients, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support safe, high-quality care for adults in a patient-centered model.

Requirements include Florida RN license (multistate acceptable), BLS within 30 days, and 1 year in inpatient rehab preferred; BSN and CRRN preferred. Benefits and a robust rewards package are offered to eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider Card required within 30 days of start.
• 1 year RN experience in Inpatient Rehab preferred; BSN preferred; CRRN preferred.

• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and situation.

• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and treatments; support patients and families during stay.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Rehab RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
