Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed therapists in helping patients regain function after injury or illness.

You will contribute to a collaborative rehabilitation team and assist in implementing therapeutic treatments. Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree from an APTA‑accredited school, are eligible for Oklahoma PTA licensure, possess BLS certification, and have strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from APTA accredited program.
• Eligible for or holds current Physical Therapist Assistant licensure to practice in Oklahoma.
• BLS required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous PTA experience in inpatient rehab or acute care preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Implements PTA services under supervision to restore function and prevent disability.
• Assist patients to reach maximum performance and level of functioning within capabilities.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of patient care.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to develop and execute plan of care.
• Provide proper assistance and cueing to support optimal patient outcomes.
